The members of the Clinton Police Department strive to work in partnership with our community in seeking out and solving problems in order to enhance the quality of life.  We are committed to preserving the peace and protecting the lives, property and rights of all our citizens through proactive policing strategies.

EXCELLENCE – We strive for personal and professional excellence, dedication to duty and service to the public, by providing the most professional and fiscally efficient police service possible.

ACCOUNTABILITY – We are accountable to each other and to the citizens we serve who are the sources of our authority, as well as to the department through written General Orders and Procedures.

COOPERATION – We believe that cooperation among ourselves, members of the community, governmental bodies and other law enforcement agencies, will enable us to combine our resources to achieve common goals.
