Question - Curfew, What are the curfew hours and regulations in Clinton?
Answer - No child under the age of 18 years shall loiter, idle or remain upon any street, alley or other public place in the village between 10:00 p.m. and 5:00 a.m. of the following day on Sunday through Thursday, or between 11:00 p.m. and 5:00 a.m. on Friday and Saturday, unless the child is accompanied by his parent, guardian or other person haing legal custody of the child. This section shall not apply to a child who is performing an errand as directed by his/her parent, guardian or other person having legal custiody of the child, a child on their own premises, a child whose employment makes it necessary fo rthe child to be upon the streets, alleys or public places or in any motor vehicle during such hours, or a child who is returning from a supervised school, church or civic finction.

Question - Fines, Where can I pay my fine?
Answer - You may pay a fine for the Clinton Municipal Court by any of the following methods:

CLERKS OFFICE:
You may pay your fine at the Village Clerk's Office, which is located in the Village Hall
at 301 Cross Street in Clinton.
CREDIT CARD:
You may pay your fine by credit Card by calling Government Payment Services at 888-604-7888 or online at www.governmentpayment.com. You will need the Village of Clinton Pay Location Code:1872.
NOTE: There will be a 4.75% fee for service added to the amount of the fine if paid by phone and a 3.5% fee for service added to the amount of the fine if paid online.

Question - Rollerblades, Can I use my rollerblades (inline skates) in the street?
Answer - You may use rollerblades (inline skates) on the streets in the Village of Clinton, however, you MAY NOT use them on any County or State Highway, or on the street or sidewalks in the downtown business district or in the area of the Village Hall & Library.

Question - Skateboards, Can I ride my skateboard on the streets in Clinton?
Answer - NO, skateboards CAN NOT be used on ANY street in the Village of Clinton. Skateboards are also prohibited on the sidewalks downtown and in the area of the Village Hall & Library.

Question - Winter Parking, What are the winter parking regulations in Clinton?
Answer - no person shall park any vehicle between the hours of 1:30 a.m. and 6:00 a.m. of any day from December 1 to March 1, on any public street, alley or right-of-way in the village except physicians on emergency calls and except when such person is frequenting a business located in any area zoned business which is open for business during those hours.
